Purity Before The Lord: Food For Thought – Daily Devotional Day 9

This week the Lord has really inspired me on the topic of purity and I want to thank a close friend of mine by the name Emanuel for sharing with me a set of sermons from Elevation Church called “Bringing Sexy Back”. The link for that is at the bottom of this page and once you click on it you have to scroll to the last set of sermons on the website. I REALLY REALLY REALLY encourage you all to listen to them!! They are truly mind blowing and life changing!

Moving on, I, as well as many other teens my age, strive for a relationship with a girl who is a woman of God. The problem with this is that many of us DO NOT have pure intentions for a relationship and only want some temporary satisfaction! We really need to focus on what the Lord wants for our lives and with this said, in the first part Ephesians 5:3 tells us that there shouldn’t be not even A HINT of sexual impurity! We are all in it for the short run, dating, kissing, this and that, but we need a girlfriend or boyfriend that is in it for the long run, and eventually marriage!!! We should all think about relationships long and hard before we try to pursue them! Let’s get ourselves in check first, and become the men and women God calls us to be (2 Timothy 2:1-7),  and respond to his calling for our lives (2 Peter 1: 3-10). Don’t Worry the Lord will provide us each with a spouse but we must first be found married to Him and obeying His every command! Again I strongly recommend these sermons! Check them out! One sermon a day – we all have 45 minutes a day to spare!

God Bless YOU ALL!

Truth About The Way: Food For Thought – Daily Devotional Day 3

Many claim to be “Christians” and walk down Christ’s path. The real truth is that the road Christians walk on is narrow. And believe that many “Christians” are by the path or near it, however they are not on it! In Matthew 7:13-14, we are told that “narrow is the road which leads to life, yet broad is the road to destruction.” With this in mind we should pray that Christ may continue to reveal His truth to us so that we can truly say that we are followers of Him and true Christians. Refer to Matthew 7:13-14.
