Many times we find ourselves struggling to stay pure, holy, and righteous. Sometimes we might struggle with trying to realize and see why we are living our lives as followers and disciples of Christ. The good news is that there are many reasons that we are following Christ and they all offer something in return! In Hebrews 12:28-29, the Bible tells us:

“Since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be destroyed, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping Him with holy fear and awe. For God is a consuming fire.”

This passage is so beautiful because it tells us what we are receiving because of our choice to believe. It says that we are receiving a KINGDOM THAT CANNOT BE DESTROYED. This kingdom is going to be our home, our place of eternal worship. This kingdom is Heaven! For this reason we should continue to be thankful to God and continue to praise Him and worship Him for all He is going to give us and all we will receive, despite the fact that we are SO undeserving.

Let’s just be encouraged by this passage and know that we are going to one day receive a Kingdom that will never perish and that is eternal. That is encouraging enough for me. Let’s really keep this in mind before sinning. Before committing a sin against God let’s realize that He is giving us so much, yet we are giving Him nothing and less than nothing by sinning. Be encouraged to stay on this wonderful path of beauty of hardship because it is SO worth it! Be encouraged to turn your head away from sinning because you now know what awaits you after this life!

God bless you and thank you for reading today’s post! Have a great day and make the right decisions!

Day 75

God’s Love & Mercy

Today I want to share with you guys a beautiful thing. I want you to encourage you today by reassuring you that God’s love is unfailing, never ending, and His faithfulness is great! Because He loves us so much, we are still living and breathing. Because He wants us to choose Him, He continues to keep us in existence. Remarkable words in Lamentations 3:22-24:

“The unfailing love of the Lord never ends! By His mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each day. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him.”

With this passage in mind, we need to realize how powerful and almighty the Lord is. We need to be reverent to this and not forget who our God is. His mercies are fresh every day, His love is unfailing, and His faithfulness is Great! Remember this daily.

God Bless you and thank you for reading todays post. Have a great day.

Day 74

Today I want to share the idea of forgiveness. In Psalm 32:3-5 we see David saying

“When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat. Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.”

In this he tells us that when he refused to confess his sins to God, he would feel bad all the time. He was simply burdened by his non-confession. Then he goes on to tell us that when he finally confessed and asked for forgiveness, God forgave him and his burden and guilt was gone.

With this in mind, let’s not run from God. Let’s not try to hide our sins. He is all-knowing, all-mighty God. He is right and holy. He knows everything, when we do and don’t do something, so there is no point to hide or even try to hide our mistakes. Rather let’s pray for forgiveness because only the Lord can fill the hole in our hearts and remove the burden of guilt that comes along with sin.

God bless you and let’s confess together!

Day 73

There comes a time when suffering strikes each one of us. Today I don’t know why I didn’t get a chance to write until this moment, but God had a reason for that. I just want to share John 16:33. Jesus tells us:

“Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

With this scripture in mind, I want to say that a beloved friend of mine experienced something last night and is facing difficulty. Not only is he suffering, but so is his family. I know that this tragedy struck so that God’s glory may shine through in the lives of my friend as well as many others. We are assured by Christ that trials and sorrows will strike. But with this verse comes good news too. Jesus tells us to overcome because He did too!

Let’s have faith in God when these trials strike. When troubles arise and when we see no hope, let’s pray that we may be able to understand that God’s glory will prevail through all of it. God’s purpose outweighs any other possible negative outcome and that’s why we praise Him! Glory be to God! Amen.

With all of this in mind, also pray that the heart of my friend may be softened to the Lords will for change in his heart. Thank you.

Day 72

Dear brothers and sisters, today the Lord put Hebrews 12:24 on my heart which says;

“think of ways to encourage one another to outbursts of love and good deeds.”

This is a very beautiful passage and for me it paints a very beautiful picture of service to others. Not only building each other up with positive words, but also with positive actions!

Let’s please listen to this verse! Only good will come from obeying. God bless you and thank you for reading todays post. Gave a great day!

Day 71

It’s interesting how we can always be so worried about our fincial problems as Christians. It’s funny how we Christians with the only real God who answers and hears our cries can be so worried about money. Will He not provide for us? He who made us, the one who gave His life for us, don’t you think He loves you and I enough to provide us with what we need? In Hebrews 13:5 we see the Bible teaching us to stay away from loving money and to be satisfied with what we have because God told us that He will never fail or forsake us!

Let’s have faith dear brothers and sisters! I cannot tell you hoe many times the Lord has taken care of me without any problems or issues. He resolved my needs as He saw fit! He really is good and He will take care. Please pray for faith that you may be able to trust in Him when the time confess and that you will not worry about the financials.

God bless you and thank you very much for visiting the blog today! Have a great day!

Day 70

In Hebrews 3:12-15 we see how we are warned. We can see that the Word is telling us to not allow our hearts to be evil and unbelieveing. We need to make sure that we follow verse 13 especially because it is allowing and giving us authority to help each other out as brothers and sisters of the same father! It tells us to warn each other so that we may not be deceived by sin and hardened against our Lord.

Let’s really take this passage into consideration and follow the warning it gives us! Wonderfully enough this warning ends with a beautiful picture and description telling us tgat if we are faithful, we will share in all that is God’s!

God bless you and thank you for reading todays post! Have a great day!
