Prayer

Today I wanted to share something about prayer. Recently, God has just been answering and answering my prayers. I wanted to share with you my joy in that and some scripture as well to help encourage you to pray more and more. We may be discouraged because we may not see our prayers being answered, but rest assured, the Lord answers in 3 ways; yes, no, and wait. Do not be discouraged if you think you don’t see an answer. God answers always, however sometimes He says no and maybe, and we just assume that our prayer hasn’t been answered. Be encouraged and continue praying. It is the only time we are speaking to GOD, the one who made us. The one that gave us breath of life is listening to us when we pray.

James 5:13,16

“13 Are any among you suffering? They should keep on praying about it. And those who have reason to be thankful should continually sing praises to the Lord. 16 The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results.”

Also when we pray, let us not be doubtful of God or His power!

James 1:6-8

“6 But when you ask Him, be sure that you really expect Him to answer, for a doubtful mind is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and  tossed by the wind. 7 People like that should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 They cannot make up their mind’s. They waiver back and forth in everything they do.”

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be a double-minded man, unsure in all I do, and doubtful of the almighty, all knowing creator!

Join me and let’s pray about our spiritual lives, to increase exponentially! We can be on fire for God, but we have to put in effort. We need to get on our knees and ask God to work in our prayer life, our scripture life, our relationship with Him. As we do this, I am sure that our spiritual relationship will increase and we will have more and more joy!

Thank you for reading todays post and God bless you. May you have a great day and be prayerful.

  1. Right here is the right blog for anyone who really wants to understand this topic. You realize a whole lot its almost hard to argue with you (not that I really will need to…HaHa). You certainly put a fresh spin on a topic that’s been discussed for many years. Wonderful stuff, just wonderful!

    • Thank you very much! I appreciate it greatly! The reason why it’s almost hard to argue with me is because these are the words of the Lord and I am His messenger. When i speak His words, how can I be put to shame?
